ABOUT T&P Cell:

Training and Placement department was established with a noble intention of transforming the rural youth into an efficient, loyal employee. This is the place where the various dreams of hundreds of students, who choose Engineering as their career option, get fulfilled. The students stood exceptional in and around Guntur district with their outstanding performance in placements year by year. Consistent support from the Management, Visionary administration of the Principal, relentless dedication and unique strategies of the Training and Placement Officer made this possible.
The department provides exclusive training programmes in the modules of Verbal Ability, Communication Skills, Aptitude, Reasoning and Technical Skills right from the 2nd year itself. The foundation provided by the qualified in-house training team will be taken to the next levels by the efficient trainers from the corporate. Uncompromising discipline executed throughout the training sessions paved a path for students to accomplish success besides to showcase loyalty as employees after their course completion. Placement coordinators from each department guide and motivate their respective branch’s students in accomplishing their goal.

It is well known that the role of the Placement Officer is vital in any institution. He acts as the bridge between the college and the corporate. His vast experience, influential, congenial relations with the corporate people, dedication and loyalty brings enormous output in the form of impressive placements. Our institution is lucky enough to have Mr.M.Sambasiva Rao, as Head- Training & Placements, who was endowed with the above mentioned prerequisite traits of a Placement Officer. His visionary ideas, respect towards time, dedication towards work, strategic steps, never compromising attitude in providing quality training, brought a remarkable change in the placement statistics of Tirumala Engineering College.

Our Department in the institute plays a pivotal role in counseling and guiding the students for their successful career. It enhances the employability of the students with myriad training programmes in language skills, technical skills, analytical skills, aptitude skills, and also through mock tests. The training sessions are arranged by the professionals from in- house resources as well as all professional trainers from the corporate world

Objectives of Training & Placement Department:

  • Enriching the skills of the students to meet the industries’ recruitment process.
  • Locating employment opportunities available across the industry for the students.
  • Establishing a relationship with the corporate leaders and present brief profile of the college and invite them to conduct campus recruitment for final year engineering graduates.
  • Assisting students in developing technical knowledge, quantitative and verbal aptitude, and also arranging industry interaction programs either through outsourcing or by in-house faculty.
  • Looking for the industries those support the college in terms of providing technical support, lab establishments, and internships for PG & UG students; and enter MoU with them.
  • Motivating students aspire for higher studies and guide them to take up competitive exams such as GATE, CAT, GRE and so on.
  • Conducting seminars on various opportunities available for higher education or research field in India and abroad.
  • Gathering constant feedback from the companies about alumni working with them and analysing it for bettering the present training methods or curriculum.
  • Moulding the personality of the students holistically by imparting training on personality development.
